Recently we got married in Levin, New Zealand.  For our wedding, we bought and hired a lot of props and decorations which we took down with us for the ceremony, reception and day after Garden Party.  It turned out to be expensive, time consuming and added an extra thing to think about in an already busy time!  When we arrived back in the middle of summer to our beautiful Island paradise, we realised many people must face a similar challenge when organise events on the Island from here or afar. As such, The Island Collection was created as a stylish and affordable boutique event hire company.

Nick is a singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist.  He has played a countless number of weddings and events over the past 10 years, both covers and originals.  He also recently toured with Tiki Taane.  With Sarah’s love for style, weddings and events and Nick’s live music experience and contacts, we have curated a collection of stylish props, decor and live music options.
